Insights from a Writer and Artist
I've spent my life with a double dose of that creative urge. I thrive on story-telling and writing. I also love to paint and draw, so I thrive on that too. It gets confusing sometimes because, as in the case of Oralee's Light, I suspended my work on a large eagle painting.
This painting is a tribute to a curious eagle who flew at eye level with me several times while I took my walks around the lake. I'll get back to him just as soon as Oralee allows me.
This is the pre-sketch of that friendly eagle was created using alcohol markers on watercolor paper. The oil painting is on a large 30 X 36 canvas.
